THE THINK, a Motion Picture Animation by David Blair

Hi!

In the world of the internet, I don't now keep profiles on social media, and for good reasons, for while working to get through this 32 year and counting movie [subjectively, that's how long it is, with regular breaks to eat or whatever], I really don't want either the need for momentary and continuous upkeep of lost thoughts I might have in an attention-environment, or instant confusion about comments. Maybe that should be neither nor. Whatever.

So, since that means that the work is rather unitary, here is orientation for and to and from a movie that is longer than even what can find on television..

In all ordinary-ness, here are the main outlets: a first tranche [page0] of the current work on Youtube, and the full engine to caboose via the more controllable service Vimeo at https://thefirstmovieontheinter.net . That is to say An Organization of Writing and Video/Audio that serves as the source for the completion of this movie. What I am making now is called THE THINK, The Children's Encyclopedia of, paginated there. It is sourced from two previous encyclopediae, which are in the menus.

Thus in simple viewable form : three Encyclopediae [For, This Movie est omnis divisa in partes tres, quarum unam incolunt A-Z, aliam 1-26, tertiam qui ipsorum lingua UFO, nostra Movie appellantur] for this movie is divided in three parts, which are A-Z, 1-26. and then the current in-flight movie.

So, at THEFIRSTMOVIEONTHEINTERNET, you will find what I call THE A-Z STORY ENCYCLOPEDIA OF TIME, 1993-2025, which is made up of Volumes A-Z of stories that I once spoke aloud, demotically [which means, by contradiction, in ordinary language]. Each letter has 26 movies with in, each roughly 30 minutes long. These are what I now call DVDs being played to the UFOs, and they will be.

You will also find THE 1-26 MOVIE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF TIME, 1993-2025. This contains a formatted version of all production footage from 1993 to now. Not all is there at the moment, since I am in mid-edit, but at least a hundred hours are. It also contains the 2024 version of the Children's Encyclopedia. These are also UFOs being played to the UFOs, and they are.

The 2024 version within the 1-26 MOVIE ENCYCLOPEDIA is rebegun in the Third and Current Encyclopedia, called THE THINK, the Children's Encyclopedia of. This is the main and current work, and proceeds in linear pages over at THEFIRSTMOVIEONTHEINTERNET. Since it is so long, and draws on simple narrative devices that have gained depth over the period of working [which includes the current moment], it might seem somewhat chaotic, or wildly personal, to you, but it is neither. It is very simply fiction, both planned, and autonomous, and I do certainly know what I am doing, though you may not know what I am doing, yet. Respectfully, this is not biography, and it is not appropriated psychological data, or theft of trauma, it is not hypnosis of audience or proffered false therapy, it is Fiction, and as such it is true, but none of those things. Maybe you can take, at a long reach, an organizing idea culled from science fiction, the What If, here extended perhaps to What Ever, though this latter said with moral compass firmly in hand using rotating magnetic tech, and also in the other hand on the phone for mapped backup.

The linear swarm of THE THINK is presented from top to bottom of numbered pages, in movies that are 1-3 hours long, and I do respect that fact that you, the audience, just can't abandon yourself to a alien voice without critical or contemporary assurance that is any good at all. So jump around, for it is made and filled and filmed and writ and edited and reviewed via it's own movie-version of intertextuality [hey, look, what a coincidence, this is that and that is those, and I was just think that just a moment ago!]. Formally, you will always find the newest movie well-labeled near the top of page0. Right now [Sept10], I am editing a movie a day, though that varies.

pages0-3 are an introduction, which from my side of the screen are where I have set up rhythms and continuities in preparation for a long-sought launch into the great voids of both what is to come, and what has already happened in the story, or story of the story. Starting on page04, the stories of A-Z and the movies of 1-26 are joined, a holiday everyday and gifts for each of the children plucked and thrown from a bag of time. You are not a child, but you are welcome, even if you haven't politely said thank you after tearing off the wrapping paper :)

We are here to save the world, says the story. Obviously, this is the beginning of a proof that it can be done, keeping in mind that most proofs are impossible, until they are not.

So, enjoy, slowly, with concentration over time, if possible. At the end of the year, I will take a break to make a shorter version that fits into the store-bought forms that fit the shelves of cinemas or bookland places, and which will respect the tropes of those distribution formats, and so you can wait for that, if you wish.
