==== 14.13. The News Studio Beneath the Reservoir ====
\\
**Location:** Sogawa Water Catchment, Sealed Vault 11 \\
**Description:** \\
The Sogawa Reservoir holds more than water---it shields a submerged structure marked on no map. Vault 11, submerged beneath the surface, once operated as a covert news studio for broadcasts never meant to be aired. Inside, Judai and Juna find an anchor desk, still lit by chemical glow. Cameras face mirrors, not audiences. Scripts flutter underwater, written in disappearing ink. The reservoir reflects no clouds---only static. Juna dips her hand into the pool and receives a headline: *War Continues in Pre-recorded Time*. There are no anchors. Only reflections speaking outdated truths. These broadcasts weren’t for citizens---they were for water itself, a memory-keeper. The news never needed viewers. Only echo. \\

**Keywords:** \\
##submerged broadcast \\
##reservoir headline trap \\
##vault studio \\
##reflected anchors \\
##fluid news cycle \\

**Very Short Story:** \\
They descended wearing waders and silence. Inside the vault, the water was warm. Juna turned the teleprompter---it displayed today’s date, yesterday’s war. “It’s still airing,” Judai said, “but only downward.” Fish swam past with subtitles projected on their scales. One read: *Emperor Declares Mirror Victory.* They left the vault open. As they climbed out, the water level rose. From above, the ripples whispered: “Stay tuned.” \\
