Judai runs his fingers along the cabinets---each vibrates faintly, like humming under breath. Juna finds a locked case labeled “Terms of the Unuttered.” They try no keys. A silent clerk appears, opens nothing, and leaves a kettle of hot water on a nearby desk. From behind a mirror, faint arguing can be heard, muffled by time. No one has opened these files in decades. Yet new folders are delivered weekly. Some contain film stills of treaties never ratified. Others are empty but heavy. The archive resists inquiry. It accepts only presence. \\
