Its windows are covered in maps of schools from other countries: Estonia, Peru, Cambodia. Inside, lessons are half-written in chalk---detailing how to track celestial drift using playground geometry. Juna locates a child’s notebook with sketches of shapes seen only from above. The school’s clocks all stopped at 2:17. On the roof, a sundial shows nothing. The air inside smells faintly of film stock. They leave without entering the second floor. Juna says, “It’s still taking attendance.” Judai agrees. \\
