10.4. Parabolic Array at the Tomb's Threshold
(Location: Cave Mouth near Keystone Tomb)
Description:
Near the entrance to the bubble museum, partially hidden by brush and falling light, stands a trio of abandoned parabolic dishes. Not satellite size—more like mirrors, angled just so. The JR tracks had once moved them to catch faint celestial echoes. Judai notes they’re still warm. Juna finds a cable running deep into the tomb, connecting the dishes to a buried amp chamber. Their purpose wasn’t reception—it was transmission. In the museum below, signals bounce off glass relics, modulating the story told by each artifact. When the dishes pulse, the museum rearranges. When they are still, the story locks in place.

Very Short Story:
The signal came at dusk. A low hum that made Juna’s book vibrate. She traced the cable with Judai until they reached a junction box covered in soot. Inside, a light blinked green. “It’s broadcasting,” Judai said. “To where?” she asked. “To when,” he corrected. The dishes turned of their own accord, adjusting their tilt. Beneath their feet, the museum reshuffled, as if waking from an old dream it had forgotten how to finish.
