Description:
A single parabolic dish, dented but intact, sits atop a shed at the edge of Karuizawa. There are no wires. Inside the shed: fog, carefully trapped and refrigerated behind paneled glass. A sign reads: “Reception Active in Condensation Only.” Juna activated the crank beside the panel, and slowly the dish aligned itself. A low tone emerged—dissonant, persistent, filled with shudder. Judai noted that the sound only existed when they weren’t touching the dish. “This is for no one,” he said. Juna disagreed. “This is for the fog.” The mist behind the glass pulsed in waves.
