2.7. The Light from Space

(Location: Rooftop, NHK Transmission Tower)

Description:
A light appears in the sky — not a star, but a rectangular pulse, blinking in a rhythm familiar from countdown leaders in film. Judai and Juna climb to the roof of the NHK building. The tower glows slightly, picking up the frequency. They attach a Geiger counter to a tripod and point it toward the pulse. The reading is low, but fluctuates like emotion. Juna believes the signal is visual language: frames without content, only beat. Judai sketches each blink as a frame title: *Arrival*, *Loss*, *Return*, *Error*. “It’s a projection with no source,” he says. Above them, the light continues, broadcasting to no one — a reel meant for earth, forgotten before it landed.

Keywords:
##extraterrestrial projection
##signal pattern reel
##framebeat language
##Geiger transmission
##unreceived broadcast

Very Short Story:
They recorded twenty-three blinks. Judai wrote them down like diary entries. Juna closed her eyes and replayed the rhythm against her chest. “It’s not Morse,” she said. “It’s editing.” They stood until dawn, watching the light fade as if it had told its story. But the sky held nothing. No ship. No flash. Only silence left behind by a movie that had passed overhead unseen.
