Description:
Urakami’s rail station was reduced to a single gesture—a fragment of archway once framing departing trains. That arch remains: jagged, unrepentant, and constantly mistaken for sculpture. It is not. Beneath it, tracks dissolve into grass, but the timetables on a surviving wall still list destinations: “Sasebo / Shimonoseki / Sky.” Judai brushes ash off a stone bench. Juna points to a groove in the platform that leads nowhere but glows under moonlight. Here, the films of departure and arrival played simultaneously. This was once where soldiers left, and silence returned. The arch, bent by shockwave, marks not destruction—but suspension. It holds the idea of movement in its curve. Juna passes beneath. Judai follows. The sky flickers above like a reel struggling to advance.

Judai took out his notebook and wrote one word: “Continue.” The arch above them creaked. The reel in the sky began again.
